SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF 22 FILE COMPACTORS FOR THE SUPREME COURT, COLOMBO 12.

Procurement Contract No: – SC/PRO/234/2026(11)

The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, on behalf of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the supply and installation and maintenance of file compactors for the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) method.

  1. Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible, bidders are required to be duly registered with the Registrar of Public Contracts (PCA 03 registration) under the Public Contract Act No. 03 of 1987. They must submit a valid PCA 03 certificate together with their bid. In addition, bidders should have prior experience in supplying and installing similar office storage or archival systems, and documentary evidence of such experience may be requested. Failure to comply with the required registration criteria will result in disqualification from the bidding process.

03. Procurements Documents

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents during working days between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. at the office of the Registrar, Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, Colombo 12. A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained upon submission of a written application to the same address.

04. Bid Document Fee

A non-refundable fee of LKR 2,500.00 is applicable for obtaining the bidding documents. The method of payment shall be by cash.

05. Bid Submission

Bids, comprising the original and duplicate copies, must be delivered to the specified address on or before 15.07.2026 at 10.00 a.m. Late submissions will be strictly rejected under all circumstances. All bids will be opened immediately after the closing time at the Supreme Court premises.


06. Bid Security

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security amounting to LKR 300,000.00 using the format provided by the Bidding document. The Bid Security must remain valid up to 22.09.2026 and shall be issued by a licensed commercial bank registered with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.


07. Submission Instructions

The title of the bid shall be clearly indicated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope, and the envelope shall be addressed to the Registrar, Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.


Additional Information (Important)


The successful bidder shall be fully responsible for the complete delivery, installation, and commissioning of the file compactors at the designated locations within the Supreme Court premises. All items supplied shall be covered by a minimum warranty period as specified in the bidding document. The Procuring Entity reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, or to cancel the procurement process at any stage without assigning any reason, in accordance with applicable procurement guidelines. Any clarifications or amendments, if required, will be issued in writing and shall form an integral part of the bidding documents.
