Basic Instructions on Using the e-Filing System – Supreme Court

All Attorneys-at-Law who wish to file any pleading, application, appeal, motion, list, affidavit, or other document electronically may do so through the newly introduced e-Filing System of the Supreme Court.

Basic Instructions:

  • Access the e-Filing System via the Supreme Court’s official website by selecting “e-Filing” under the “Professionals” tab.
  • Log in using the user credentials issued to you when you updated your name in the Lawyers Data Base.
  • Pay the applicable annual subscription fee through the available online payment gateway to gain access to the e-Filing System. This will enable you to use the system throughout that particular year.
  • Select “Register New Case”
  • Enter the required details accurately.
  • Upload the digitally certified documents in the prescribed format (PDF), ensuring all files are properly titled and legible. (Note: Petitions in particular must be digitally signed)
  • Pay the applicable e-filing fee through the available online payment gateway to enable you to obtain the case number of the case you have just filed through the e-filing System. This will enable you to continue to use the system and upload the documents annexed to the Petition of the case you have just filed through the e-filing System.
  • Confirm successful submission
